  Wetherbee's Block Island: Paintings from the 1940's
Written by: Jack Lynch & Meg Lynch Doyle
The Weeberbee Prints can be seen surrounding the cellar walls of Club Soda at the Highview Hotel. Jack and his daughter photographed the walls. Jack then wrote a historical narrative about each picture contrasting that picture to a present day photograph. A colorful history of Holden Wetherbee is included. In 1948, Wetherbee painted the pictures in exchange for room and board and drinks.
